Robert Brabbit represented the family of a man that was killed in a car crash. The family lost a beloved son and brother in the crash. The decedent was a passenger in a friend’s vehicle. The driver had been drinking before the crash and had been chased by the police but “lost them.” The driver lost control of the vehicle, it left the roadway and hit a tree. Our client was going to a friend’s cabin in northern Minnesota. He was riding his motorcycle and was following his friend who was driving an automobile. Our client was making a left turn and another driver came up from behind him and started to pass in a No Passing Zone and struck the rear of his motorcycle.
