Our client was driving his motorcycle down a country road following a tractor pulling a hay wagon. The tractor, which was half on the right shoulder to allow vehicles to pass, made a left turn into his driveway as our client was alongside the tractor to pass. Our client veered away from the tractor and avoided a collision but crashed into the ditch and received a severe closed head injury. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Our client was jogging and pushing her 11 month old daughter in a stroller in a roundabout near downtown Lakeville, MN. As they were crossing one traffic lane, a negligent driver hit the stroller and ripped it from the mother’s hands. The stroller was thrown 30-40 feet down the road bouncing end over end and landed on its wheels. Amazingly the baby remained strapped inside the stroller but received two skull fractures and a concussion. She was rushed to Children’s Hospital and treated there.

Our client was attending races at a local racetrack and left his clubhouse seat to use the restroom. He uses an electric scooter and once inside the restroom, parked the scooter near the handicapped stall, got off and slipped on liquid on the floor. He landed on the tile floor. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital and spent 6 weeks in a rehab center.

Our client was injured on her housekeeping job with the Veterans Home where she worked for over 20 years. She suffered a career ending back injury along with injuries to her elbow, hand, and wrist. The injury prevented her from working any longer,

Our client was riding with a friend. The roads were icy and their car slid into the back of a car stopped for a stop sign. Our client put her feet on the dashboard to brace for the impact. As a result, she fractured her right ankle and had surgery to insert a plate & screws into her ankle.

Our client was an electrician who was wiring electric fans into the ceiling of a 20 foot high walk-in cooler at a Cub Foods store that was being built. He was walking across the top of the cooler to talk to one of the other workers. The area was poorly lit and our client came across a step ladder lying on the floor. He pushed the ladder aside and fell into an un-barricaded hole. Our client fell approximately 20 feet onto a cement floor, landing on his feet. As a result of the fall, our client's right ankle was fractured, his right hip was fractured and he had fluid on the knee.

A young Anoka teen practicing for her driver’s test was stopped at a stop when a drunk driver slammed into the rear of the vehicle she was driving.  Rather than stop to see if anyone was hurt or render aid, the drunk fled the scene.  He was later located by law enforcement.  The teen driver hit by the drunk suffered neck and back injuries in the crash.  

A vehicle was traveling the same direction as our client in the lane to her left. That vehicle suddenly attempted to make a right turn right in front of our client, causing a collision and pushing our client's vehicle into a third vehicle. As a result of the double collision, our client received injuries to her neck and back and re-injured her shoulder which she had received treatment for prior to the crash. She ultimately underwent surgery for a tear in her shoulder. Her medical expenses exceeded $55,000.

Our female client entered a well-known area grocery store on a rainy summer evening. As she stepped off of the entry-way mat, she slipped on the polished floor that had become damp from that day's 3,000-plus shoppers. The client suffered a badly broken ankle resulting in medical bills, pain and suffering, and lost time from work. The store denied any responsibility for the accident. However, Bill Bongard proved that the store had violated its own policies for wet floors including not having fans or warning signs in the area. Bill was able to settle the case for $60,000.

Our client, a 52 year-old woman, was diagnosed with a thyroid condition and prescribed medication by her treating physician. She filled her prescription at her local pharmacy but the pharmacy erroneously gave her a cancer drug rather than the thyroid medication.  She suffered from symptoms as a result of not taking her prescribed thyroid medication and also suffered pain and a multitude of additional symptoms as a result of taking the cancer drug. Of significant importance, our client suffered mental anguish because she had experienced similar cancer-like symptoms years earlier when she was treated for ovarian cancer.
